Enabling the Blog
The Sitebeat Blog is a simple online publishing tool offering users a familiar and easy-to-use interface designed for efficient user experience.
Note: The Blog option is only available for paid Sitebeat plans and is not accessible on Sitebeat Free. To maximise all the features of your Sitebeat website, including the Blog feature, we highly encourage you to upgrade your Sitebeat Free plan.
You can quickly set up this blog functionality on your Sitebeat website with just a few clicks. A Blog page will automatically be added, along with a customisable blog and post settings.
Enable Sitebeat blog on your website by following the steps below:
- Log In to access the Sitebeat dashboard.
- Under My Sites, click the Edit Site option on the website that you wish to manage.
- Click Settings from the left-side menu, and then click Blog.
- Click the Enable Blog button.
Note: If you want to edit a new site, you have to unpublish the current website and make your new site as your primary website.
Under My Sites, click the [...] Ellipsis Icon on the top-right corner of the website to unpublish the current site. Click Unpublish Site, and then click Yes, Unpublish to confirm.
Under My Domains, click the [...] Ellipsis Icon of the website that you want to replace as your primary website, then click Replace Primary. In the pop-up window, select the domain of the new website in the New Primary Domain list, then click Replace Primary. You can also click the Domains tab under My Sites to perform the necessary steps mentioned.
You can now edit the new site that you wish to manage.
Once the feature is enabled, you will be redirected to the General Blog Settings located on the left sidebar. In the editor window, you will see the Blog page with an empty content.
Disabling the Blog
If in the future you wish to remove disable the blog functionality on your website, you can easily do so, anytime. Simply follow the steps below:
- Log In to access the Sitebeat dashboard.
- Under My Sites, click the Edit Site option on the website that you wish to manage.
- Click Settings from the left-side menu, and then click Blog.
- Click the Disable Blog button.
- Click Yes on the pop-up box to confirm action.
Note: If you want to edit a new site, you have to unpublish the current website and make your new site as your primary website.
Under My Sites, click the [...] Ellipsis Icon on the top-right corner of the website to unpublish the current site. Click Unpublish Site, and then click Yes, Unpublish to confirm.

Note: If you disable the blog functionality, the blog page and all the blog posts on your website will also be disabled.
