How to Set up Local Delivery

Sitebeat gives you the option to deliver your store products yourself or use a Local Delivery service by adding the shipping option to your Store.

Note: The Store option is only available for the Sitebeat eCommerce plan and will not appear on all other Sitebeat plans. Suppose you want to set up an online store with complete SSL protection as well as easy setup and monitoring of products and orders. In that case, you will need to upgrade your current Sitebeat plan or purchase a new Sitebeat eCommerce plan.

Add the Local Delivery method to your store's shipping options using the steps below:

  1. Log In to access the Sitebeat dashboard.
  2. Under My Sites, click the Edit Site option on the website that you wish to manage.
  3. Note: If you want to edit a new site, you have to unpublish the current website and make your new site as your primary website.

    Under My Sites, click the [...] Ellipsis Icon on the top-right corner of the website to unpublish the current site. Click Unpublish Site, and then click Yes, Unpublish to confirm.

    Under My Domains, click the [...] Ellipsis Icon of the website that you want to replace as your primary website, then click Replace Primary. In the pop-up window, select the domain of the new website in the New Primary Domain list, then click Replace Primary. You can also click the Domains tab under My Sites to perform the necessary steps mentioned.

    You can now edit the new site that you wish to manage.

  4. Click Store from the left-side menu.
    If this is your first time accessing this option, click Get Started, and then wait a few seconds for the Sitebeat Editor to add a Store page and Shopping Cart icon to your website.
  5. Click Settings from the Online Store left-side menu, then click Shipping.
  6. Under Shipping Origin, click Add Address to specify where you are shipping the products from, and then click Save.
  7. Click the Add link beside Shipping Options.
  8. Click on the Add Shipping button.
  9. Click Set Up Local Delivery.
  10. Select whether you want to configure this shipping option with Free Delivery, Conditional Free Delivery, Flat Rate, or Custom Rates by clicking on their corresponding buttons.
  11. On the next page, edit the Shipping name at checkout to be displayed, click Add description for customers to specify the estimated time for the order to arrive and other important instructions or information regarding this method, and then click Set delivery zone to specify the destinations that you can ship to with this shipping method.

    For Conditional Free Delivery, Flat Rate, and Custom Rates, set the Delivery rates or custom cost calculation rules for each shipping method.
  12. Once done, click Save & Finish.

You’ve just set up Local Delivery for your Sitebeat Store.
